“Sydney-based energy storage start-up Gelion has officially launched onto Australia’s booming battery market, with a new take on zinc bromine chemistry it says can offer a cheaper, safer and more sustainable alternative to lithium-ion.
The company unveiled the first commercial application of its Gelion Endure battery storage platform – a battery-integrated portable, automated solar light tower – at the home of its conception, the University of Sydney, at a live demonstration in February 2019.

According to the data that was gathered through the small-scale renewable energy scheme there was in excess of 1057 megawatts of solar installed in 2017 across the country.
thats a whole lot of solar panels, infact the clean energy regulator estimated that this was equal to approximately 3.5 million solar panels on australian roof tops!
The Australian Solar market is a hotbed of technologies and products, both local and imported, from many economies around the world all contributing towards the global shift to renewables. Here, we have implemented stringent quality control and compliance procedures for installing products, mainly to encourage a safe industry, free of incident and malpractice.
